Kristie’s talents bridge the natural healing sector, homeschooling mom and Waldorf Curriculum creator. She has degrees in Naturopathic Medicine, has certificates in Iridology, Reflexology, Herbalism, and Aromatherapy. She uses her knowledge of children’s temperaments to assist in their education and health.

“Finding Sacred Moments in your Everyday Life”

WEEK 3 Thursday May 20- Dr.Aurore Henze
“Beyond Natural Cures”
Aurore Henze is an Ayurvedic Doctor of Natural Health. She
studies Reichian Somatic Therapy under a nationally accredited
licensed psychologist. A Waldorf homeschooling mother of three, she
has successfully developed a music therapy program for children and a
yoga program based on orgonomy. She practices in Ann Arbor, MI.
Aurore will discuss the amazing results she had helping to cure her son of Autism and the methods she created that can help with chronic illness.

WEEK 4 Tuesday May 25- Heather Fontenot
“Nurturing Ourselves as Women & Mothers”
Heather Fontenot, co-editor of Rhythm of the Home, a wonderful online magazine. She is the mother of two boys living with her family on the Front Range of Northern Colorado. She has a passion for natural and creative living, and she is an active member of the gluten free community, with two boys being diagnosed with celiac disease three years ago.
Her daily life consists of knitting, sewing, embroidery, photography, cooking and home schooling her two little ones in the Waldorf tradition. She is also a doula and a yoga therapist, and that work plays a large role in her parenting style.She is the author of the blog Shivaya Naturals, where she shares the daily ups and downs of combining her love of art and housewifery with the challenges of raising two very active little ones.
Heather really got down to the core & the importance of nurturing ourselves during this discussion. She said the 1st step must be to figure out your self worth.She talked of letting go of negative relationships and never apologize or make excuses for why you are taking care of yourself. This truly is worth every minute, you owe it to yourself to listen!
